Is the Philips Norelco S9000 Prestige worth it? Yes, if it’s within budget — it delivers a close, comfortable shave with genuinely well-shaped ergonomics, though the premium price means it scores lower on value than it does on shave quality and comfort.

My Take
The S9000 Prestige is a great shaver for a clean and close shave for electric shavers. Its ergonomics are well shaped making it easy to shave without awkward hand placement. But I will say something I find tricky with the shaver it takes a while to fully shave some areas of my beard, a caveat to that is this is an older shaver I have had for a year plus without replacing the head so the blades might be dull so keep that in mind. Nevertheless it feels like a solid piece of kit made well.

Is It Worth the Price?
In my opinion the price for this premium shaver might be a bit steep but is worth the indulge if within budget. It didn’t score as high on value as it did on shave quality and comfort, but for me that’s the trade-off you make for a shaver built this well.
